Remigi WINZAP is Director and a negotiation strategist at NINEdec
Remigi has extensive negotiating experience as a former Swiss Ambassador, Board Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, Head of the Swiss Mission to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in Geneva, and as the person responsible for Switzerland’s trade-related technical cooperation with developing countries and transition economies. Remigi also served as a senior diplomat at the Swiss representations to the EU in Brussels and Paris. In addition, Remigi worked for several years at Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS) in Geneva, Basel and New York.
Remigi’s negotiating experience covers the full breadth of bilateral, plurilateral and multilateral negotiations, especially in the area of international trade-policy. He has conducted negotiations in English, French, German and Spanish, led numerous negotiating teams on a variety of issues and chaired several multilateral negotiations at both the WTO and the EBRD.
Remigi holds a law degree from the University of Geneva and a post-graduate diploma in international public administration from the French Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA).
